The Richardson's Adventures

Our holiday to Western Australia was initiated from the idea of taking our boys on a extended holiday prior to starting school. We have been camping in tent's, and more recently we had a camper trailer for 3 years. While the camper trailer served us well ( over 30 camping trips ), we have upgraded to our off road caravan. The caravan makes life easier for the overnight stay, quick pack up, and it also has air conditioning. Our holidays have been booked for 2 1/2 years and we have been planning in some sort of fashion since. We have upgraded the car to give hassle free motoring, not to mention the great V8 rumble.

Mother's Day at Esperance

Happy Mother's Day
Mother's Day began with lovely hand painted cards from the boys, followed by pancakes.  One pancake mix only feeds the boys.  Oh well, cereal for Dad and I.  The boys gave me very practical presents, camping chairs (as we forgot to pack chairs when we left).  I wonder where they get there practical gift ideas from?

At the park
After a lovely walk along the foreshore and exploring the old jetty we had lunch.  We all rested then spent the afternoon at the park.  The weather was perfect, although a little cool, but I felt very spoilt!

Washing the Car
After our recent beach trip, Steven was able to wash the car and as always the boys love to help.
