The Richardson's Adventures

Our holiday to Western Australia was initiated from the idea of taking our boys on a extended holiday prior to starting school. We have been camping in tent's, and more recently we had a camper trailer for 3 years. While the camper trailer served us well ( over 30 camping trips ), we have upgraded to our off road caravan. The caravan makes life easier for the overnight stay, quick pack up, and it also has air conditioning. Our holidays have been booked for 2 1/2 years and we have been planning in some sort of fashion since. We have upgraded the car to give hassle free motoring, not to mention the great V8 rumble.

Esperance

Travelling to the Esperance lookout

Esperance Lookout

Having fun in the park
We had a play in the park on the Esperance shore line.  The boys thought the bridge was a great attraction.

Esperance Wind Turbine
Esperance has a Wind Turbine Farm on one of it exposed shorelines.

Sammy the sea lion
Sammy enjoys the fish caught from the local fisherman from the jetty.  The Jetty is no longer in commercial use.  It is only for recreational use. The boys thought it was great to see Sammy.

  2. Hi everyone, the photos are great. Happy Mothers Jenni. We - Peta, Abbie, Michelle and Marie went up to Tamborine this morning for the markets and breakfast. We had a great time. The weather is great here. Fine sunny days and cool nights. It must be cool at Esperance as I noticed that you have warmer clothes on. It must be a windy place for the turbines to be there. I babysat Charlotte last night. She is just beautiful and I cannot believe how much she has grown in the two weeks that I havn't seen her. She actually giggles now. Hopefully we will talk to you with skype tonight. We hope you had a very happy anniversary yesterday.
