The Richardson's Adventures

Our holiday to Western Australia was initiated from the idea of taking our boys on a extended holiday prior to starting school. We have been camping in tent's, and more recently we had a camper trailer for 3 years. While the camper trailer served us well ( over 30 camping trips ), we have upgraded to our off road caravan. The caravan makes life easier for the overnight stay, quick pack up, and it also has air conditioning. Our holidays have been booked for 2 1/2 years and we have been planning in some sort of fashion since. We have upgraded the car to give hassle free motoring, not to mention the great V8 rumble.

Barn Hill Station Stay (day II)

Venturing down to the beach

Barn Hill Pinnacles (Beach view)
Barn Hill has two beaches divided by the rock pools the boys have been swimming in.  Today we ventured to the north beach and explored the Barn Hill Pinnacles, which have been nicked named by the Station Stayers.

Rock Pools
We walked back to the Rock Pools where the boys had loads of fun swimming in the water and trying to catch the little fish that are stuck there until the next incoming tide.

Swim in the Rock Pools
The boys also managed to find two perfect shaped ball size rocks which they were plonking into the water to reach down and retrieve, only to do it all over again.

Boyz in the Hood
Jacob called this action "the snow cones"?

Ice Creams
Steven bought ice creams for us all, can you believe it!!  We then walked in front of the kiosk to the Barn Hill Station Stay bowls green, for the afternoon entertainment.
