The Richardson's Adventures

Our holiday to Western Australia was initiated from the idea of taking our boys on a extended holiday prior to starting school. We have been camping in tent's, and more recently we had a camper trailer for 3 years. While the camper trailer served us well ( over 30 camping trips ), we have upgraded to our off road caravan. The caravan makes life easier for the overnight stay, quick pack up, and it also has air conditioning. Our holidays have been booked for 2 1/2 years and we have been planning in some sort of fashion since. We have upgraded the car to give hassle free motoring, not to mention the great V8 rumble.

Kalgoorlie

Norseman
Ending our Nullarbor adventure with Steven driving the 90mile longest straight road in Australia, we stopped the night in Norseman. (Let's put this stop over as an experience).

Kalgoorlie
We arrived in Kalgoorlie and planned only for one night.  Settling into our camp we caught up with a family we had met and got on really well with in Ceduna.  It was like a surrogate family.  We were all really excited, especially the boys as they just loved playing with Liam.  Our one night stay, has now been extended to three nights, which has been really relaxing.   Kalgoorlie is truly an interesting town.

SuperPit
The first day we arrived, we did a night SuperPit viewing, and the boys were really excited and couldn't wait to see the BIG TRUCKS in the daylight.  After a night of bribery, the boys slept well and we revisited the Superpit.  It's a bloody big hole!

A message to my Grandma and Grandpa

Jacob spoke to me today and stated, "It will be a long time before I see Grandma and Grandpa again".  I said to Jacob you'll be able to see them on skype.  Jacob said to me, "but I wont be able to give them a big hug, will I".  Well, no.  So Jacob said, when I see Grandma and Grandpa again, I will give them a BIG HUG and tell them I have missed them both very much. (Zachary stated, I'm HUNGRY!).
