Our holiday to Western Australia was initiated from the idea of taking our boys on a extended holiday prior to starting school. We have been camping in tent's, and more recently we had a camper trailer for 3 years. While the camper trailer served us well ( over 30 camping trips ), we have upgraded to our off road caravan. The caravan makes life easier for the overnight stay, quick pack up, and it also has air conditioning. Our holidays have been booked for 2 1/2 years and we have been planning in some sort of fashion since. We have upgraded the car to give hassle free motoring, not to mention the great V8 rumble.

Perth to Scarborough

Rendezvous  
For those of you who know Jenni, and her previous life as a flight attendant with Ansett, this is the famous Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough.  The crew would stay here overnight after a flight from BNE to PTH, PTH to KLG, KLG to PTH, then stay here overnight, swim in the pool or at the beach, meet up at night for dinner, and sometimes drinks.  Then we would have to return the next afternoon and do the "back of the clock" the above flying route but in reverse and arrive in Brisbane 05:00am in the morning. JET LAG big time.

    Lovely photos of Perth and fond memories for Jenni, the beach sand looks very clean.That a nice manderine Jacob & Zachary are eating at the play ground... fun..fun..fun!
